Kent’s Marsh, Gamboa

With the rainy season entering its final month, many predatory birds are being attracted to this small ephemeral wetland to take advantage of the  insect, amphibian and reptile communities which it supports.  In the past week alone Grey-headed Kite, Collared Forest-Falcon, Grey Hawk, Black Hawk-Eagle and Peregrine Falcon have all been spotted (and photographed) foraging over the marsh.
