Altos De Campana National Park

Want a change from lowland tropical birds? We also offer day-trips from Panama City to the beautiful scenery of Panama’s oldest National Park – Altos De Campana.  The park includes the eastern-most peaks of the Talamanca mountain range which spans the border with Costa Rica.  The foothills and cloud forest here provide habitat for bird species more frequently associated with the western highlands, and provide opportunity to spot species such as Scale-crested Pygmy Tyrant,  Orange-bellied Trogon, Silver-throated Tanager and White-ruffed Manakin.
